Poland Creek Campground & Recreational Area

Poland Creek Campground & Recreational Area, located on Lowes Ferry Road, is far more than a one-day adventure, as you can gather the family for a camping weekend at this park. Offering 34-site campgrounds, you can escape to nature without having to head out to the boondocks. Some of these sites even have electricity, which is sure to please your happy campers. If you are ready to enjoy a weekend getaway, go ahead and mark your calendar, as the ideal season is April through October.

Henry Beal Park

Along Fort Loudon Lake, you will find yourself in a picturesque spot at Henry Beal Park. While the park’s gates close at dusk, if you set your alarm early, you can make a day of it at this gorgeous park. Don’t forget to pack your lunch so you can enjoy the various covered picnic areas.
